Okanagan Fashion

To my fashion conscious followers out there, here is the page for you. From the one and only Okanagan Valley. The Sunny Okanagan street views.

Featured districts in the Okanagan:

  • Summerland

  • Penticton

  • Westbank [West-Kelowna]

  • Kelowna

Summerland, British Columbia. In the Mid/South Okanagan, this wine producing little Fachwerk decorated town is small enough you can walk to all of it's Environs within the daylight hours.  Summerland has a quaint and small main street, with small clothing boutiques, and bustling Café houses! In Summerland you will [At least in the fall] see some of the best dressed peoples, readying themselves for a night of wine tasting! The town offers a unique hiking experience, with Giants Head Mountain giving a full 360 degree view. A great place to do yoga in the evening.

Penticton, nicknamed "The City of Peaches" is a bustling town of 40,000 habitants. Penticton is the largest city in the South Okanagan and with the more people, the more crazy sweet outfits one will find. In the Summer, the South Okanagan reaches a mean temperature of 35-40 degrees Celsius [sorry no fahrenheit] and along with a lake at either end of the town and a river channel connecting the two... When Summer rolls around you can be sure the beach bodies will be out and some of the hottest new bathing suits are being shown off! The city has a great extensively ling beach which makes great seating for people watching!
Westbank [Now known as "West Kelowna" {Not a part of the district of Kelowna}] is directly across the William R. Bennett Bridge from Kelowna. The city of West Kelowna has been the most rapid city to grow in recent years. This city is a huge strata community and it bustles with many small businesses, and with it's close proximity to Kelowna and with the entire Okanagan Valley being a mere four to five hours from Vancouver, the fashion tastes of the West Coast flare well here in the hot dry heat.

At the centre of the Okanagan valley, Kelowna is the largest city in the interior of British Columbia, and also the largest city in the Okanagan, with a population of 118,000 people [180,000 with outlying areas]. The city boasts the best fashion shoppes/boutiques and kiosks anywhere in the Southern Interior, and the Okanagan Valley. Be sure to stroll down Water Street, with a large portion of boutiques located on this street. Also take a meander down the beachfront promenade, that offers quite a walk for those interested in viewing new styles, and taste the many different wines locally vintaged in the Kelowna Mission.
